Loreena McKennitt’s Quinlan Road record label is set to release her Live At The Royal Albert Hall live album for the first time on vinyl on 3rd June 2022 in two editions.

First edition (QRLP118C) will be released as a mail order exclusive pressed on 140g transparent blue vinyl in a two disc set, packaged in a gatefold sleeve and in a strictly limited edition of just 1,000 copies globally.

The second edition (QRLP118) continues the tradition of Loreena's releases appearing in a high quality 180g black vinyl pressing.

The 180g edition of Live At the Royal Albert Hall is also issued in a two lp set and packaged in a gatefold sleeve.

Both editions have been pressed at Record Industry and mastered by Stuart Bruce, who engineered and mixed the original recordings.

Originally released on compact disc and via digital services in November 2019, Live At the Royal Albert Hall offers a substantially different repertoire from any of Loreena's previous in-concert releases.

Includes seven songs that had never previously been released as live tracks, six of which were drawn from her most recent studio recording, Lost Souls. 

All 20 songs from the 2019 edition are included in this two lp set and are arranged in a brand new sequence to guarantee the best possible audio fidelity across all four sides of vinyl.

The performance at London’s storied Royal Albert Hall was part of McKennitt’s spring 2019 European tour and to celebrate the occasion she brought in five special guest musicians to augment her core band: renowned, and since sadly deceased, master Egyptian percussionist Hossam Ramzy, Daniel Casares, of Spain, one of the top flamenco guitarists in the world, and Canadians Ben Grossman on hurdy-gurdy, bodhran, accordion and percussion, and Ian Harper on Uilleann pipes, bombard, the Turkish clarinet, flutes and whistles. Spanish musician Ana Alcaide played nyckelharpa.
